This adapter fits the Amiga 4000 desktop only.

The IDE port of the Amiga 4000 is a fully featured, buffered IDE port that provides both a primary and a secondary IDE channel. Each channel takes two IDE devices (master and slave). Please make sure each device is configured correctly as master or slave.

Drivers

In principle, no drivers are needed. However, Amiga OS was primarily designed to manage two IDE devices on this interface. If you run into trouble when connecting up to four devices, please consider either IDEfix97 from Aminet (Amiga OS 1.3 to 3.1) or the newer AtapiMagic package (Amiga OS 3.1.4 to 3.2).
